What To Expect
We are a church that is laid back and friendly. We are open to any and all. We are a church comprised of families of all ages and stages. Our heart is to make everyone feel welcomed and valued and that each person who comes through our doors experiences warm, friendly people, an impactful, yet practical message, great music and genuine people who love Jesus
What To Wear
Come as you are. At Living the Word people come in what they are comfortable in. You will find people in jeans and tennis shoes, some people in pants and sport coats, you may find a few people in a suit. We are less concerned about what you wear, and more concerned about what you receive while you are here.
Arriving
Service starts at 10:30am, but you are welcome to come early for coffee and donuts in our café. Once you finish your coffee and donuts, you can come right up to the sanctuary. If you arrive at 10:30 for service, you can go right up into the sanctuary.
Children
If you have children, we have youth classes where they will receive instruction on their own level. After praise and worship, children are dismissed to go to their respective elementary, middle or high school class. There are times when some of our guests prefer to have their family together for the entire service and that is just fine with us. Again, we want you to be comfortable during your time with us.
Teaching
We are a teaching ministry, so the messages are communicated in a clear, logical and easy to follow manner so that you are able to apply what you hear to your everyday life. Our messages are taught directly from the Bible. We teach from the New King James version. If you don’t have a Bible, no worries, they are provided in the seat back. The scriptures used during the message are also displayed on a screen.
